libx32readline6-dev software package provides GNU readline and history libraries, development files (x32), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libx32readline6-dev
libx32readline6-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libx32readline6-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libx32readline6-dev *
You will get with libx32readline6-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
